Hi, I'm Colleen

At Treetop Wellness Studio, all students are welcome at any level of strength,

flexibility, or experience. I enjoy guiding students/clients with my earned skills

in yoga, personal training, and sound therapy

In the past, I taught aerobics and strength training for 22 years. I hold certifications with ACE (American Council on Exercise) and offer one-on-one personal training for stability, strength, balance and core.

My love of teaching yoga began over 20 years ago. My mother died suddenly, and I needed a quiet place to unwind.

I joined a class, sat quietly and learned how to not only move within the poses, but understand the peace and wisdom found in the

silence of the self.

Since then, I have earned certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga, harmonic sound therapy and trauma-informed yoga.

I have trained with notable yoga and sound mentors Seane Corn, Hala Khouri, Bernie Clark, Kimberly Spreen and Simon Jay.

I encourage students to look inside as they practice yoga ,

embrace their personal strengths and find their

inner balance on and off the mat.

I believe yoga is powerful for every BODY, working at your own level based on being present in that day and time.

From teaching aerobics and strength training, I dove into personal training as a way to help anyone looking to improve

strength, balance, and core.

I enjoy understanding what their goals are, and developing safe, effective programing to encourage and progress to the individual’s goal every session, in tune and synchronized with where they are in their body and mind.

My sound therapy journey began five years ago,

when I attended a very meaningful sound bath.

Having felt not only relaxed, but empowered,

I then completed two levels of certification

to help others find deep relaxation and improve their

own physical and emotional well being.

When I am not teaching or training, you can find me with my husband Craig and two sweet cats Cookie and Sasha,

at Lake Michigan beaches, gardening, and travelling.
